Water finds its own level, and, so, it appears, does music flow naturally this year.
With both of the Zack Snyder-directed 2021 blockbuster films, zombie heist spectacular “Army of the Dead” the #Snydercut of “Justice League”, screening for months, Allison Crowe’s musical contributions have found global audiences of virtually equal dimension.
Allison’s AOTD-opening duet of “Viva Las Vegas” with the fabulous Richard Cheese (Lounge Against the Machine) and ZSJL’s closing “Hallelujah” #ForAutumn each tops one million individual streams, plays and/or downloads across audio platforms (and countless more listens+ on the official soundtracks).
And for those experiencing Allison’s vocals and piano as part of the total movie experience – the songs are heard in full in the two films – collectively “Zack Snyder’s Justice League” and “Army of the Dead” have now been played, streamed, purchased by over half-a-billion people across our own planet (and who knows how many on other planets or stars)!
This past week saw charity screenings of the “Justice Is Gray” edition of ZSJL – at IMAX theatres in New York City, Los Angeles and Austin, TX in support of efforts by the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention to save lives and raise awareness of mental health issues. To date, the #SnyderVerse community has raised over USD $750,000 for AFSP and this important cause.
