The music soundtrack album for #ZackSnydersJusticeLeague from WaterTower Music – which features Allison Crowe’s new single, first, take recording of Leonard Cohen’s “Hallelujah” – reached #1 on iTunes and over one million Spotify streams on its first day of release.
The movie numbers are out now, and the epic adventure film has set a Canadian streaming record on Crave, which carries the #HBOMax Original film. Topping the previous record, held by “Game of Thrones” since 2019, #SnyderCut thrills o'er 1.1 million viewers. It’s now also released in a "Justice is Gray" b/w cinematic edition.
Truly a labour of love for Director Zack Snyder and Producer Deborah Snyder and the team at The Stone Quarry, and all its extended creative family, the film – and Allison’s song performance – is dedicated to Autumn Snyder, the young daughter lost to suicide in 2017.
Of comic book superhero origin, Justice League is mythic tale of Amazons, Atlantians, earthlings and extra-terrestrials united in common cause to prevail in the face of existential danger. It’s thrilling spectacle grounded in human needs and callings. As actor+ Ray Porter notes it’s a phenomenon that transcends, not just on the screen, also via fans of the film raising over US $500,000 for mental health awareness and suicide prevention:
